Today, we reviewed and finished off our storm/weather unit. We then looked at ‘The Olympic Games’
We experimented with new and familiar vocabulary;
bar, crowd(v), breathtaking, exhaustive, exquisite, host, impression, memorable, reflect, resource, spectacular, tough.
We looked at phrasing of questions which ask about information in charts.
We looked at ‘Subject, verb, object’ sentence formatting.
HOMEWORK
*Work book p120 (comprehension) p121 (vocabulary), p122 (language building).
*1 page of journal about the modern olympics
