Today, we looked at the spellings of jobs, and how most end with ‘or’ (even though they can often sound like an ‘er’ ending)
We practiced some listening exercises with English people speaking quickly (much trickier than usual test-speed)
We revisited the use of direct and reported (indirect) speech in newspaper reports. We talked about effective news headlines that could be short, use alliteration, and/or use interesting vocabulary.
We started to look at p108/p109 of the homework.
