Workbook pages 48 and 49.

Write an adventure about Phoebe, Alex and Patrick visiting your ancient civilisation.  Remember to check the following:

1. Have you used direct speech? ” and ” (sixty-six and ninety-nine)
2. Have you started a new paragraph for a new section or new speaker?
3. Have you used words other than ‘said’ for quoting speech?
4. Have you used harder words?  Try and think of a better word to use e.g.: instead of walk, use wander.
5. Does your story have an introduction, problem and a solution?

I am expecting this to be at least one and a half pages long in your journal.  More would be great!
